That's why, In early 2022, we continued our re-investment strategy by purchasing the latest generation of Bystronic's Tube Laser cutters, the ByTube 130 M2. This machine features fully automatic setup, bundle loading, 6 axis control, high-speed and precision cutting on a wide range of engineering grade materials of varying sizes and thicknesses. It has a linear chuck speed of 150m/minute and 2kW fibre laser, allowing us to take on and efficiently complete high quantity orders to a very high standard.
With the help of the additional features of Laserscan, the weld seam search camera and Quick Cut, we are able to maintain high quality cutting while meeting demanding lead times from our customers. Integrating the ByTube 130 into Crown’s arsenal of machinery has been revolutionary, as it removes bottlenecks in the manufacturing process by allowing the us to schedule and prioritize tube laser work in-line with due dates and urgency.
Laserscan: Real-time compensation of tube bending enables high cutting accuracy, even with low-quality material.
Quick Cut: The head can machine tubes without repositioning. The combination of movements of cutting head and tube achieves maximum cutting performance.
Weld seam search camera: The automatic detection of the weld seam position on tube inner surface is needed for many applications, especially when tube is bent after cutting.
